Fire - Extinguishing

This is an extension of the rules for extinguishing burning characters on page 243.

  • A burning character may drop prone and make a Hard Agility Test as a Full Action to extinguish their own flames.
  • A character, as a Full Action, may assist a burning character’s attempt to put out their own flames, which grants a +20 bonus to the burning character’s Agility Test. The assisting character must be prone in a contiguous hex.
    • Additional characters assisting as a Full Action, beyond the first, each grant +10 bonus to the burning character’s attempt to put out their own flames. A maximum of three characters may assist a burning character’s attempt to put out their own flames.
  • A character, as a Full Action, may attempt to extinguish the flames of a burning character who is not attempting to put out their own flames, with a Difficult Agility Test. This character must be prone & in a contiguous hex to the burning character.
    • Other characters, as a Full Action, may assist this attempt to put out another character’s flames, each granting +10. A maximum of two characters may assist in this way.
